This Privacy Policy describes how Pura Health LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, register for a course, or communicate with us.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect:

Contact information: name, email, phone, organization

Payment details: processed securely via third-party providers (we do not store card info)

Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, service requests, and cookie or browser-storage identifiers

Educational data: course registration, completion records, CEU tracking, QA submissions

3. How We Use Information

We use your data to:

Provide and improve our services and courses

Respond to inquiries and provide support

Send course updates, newsletters, or offers (opt-in only)

Comply with accreditation and record-keeping requirements

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use browser storage for sign-in, consent choices, requested reading settings, and guide-form preferences. Hosting and security services also set cookies. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to separately control optional article embeds and embedded Quizell quizzes. See the provider and storage inventory below. These controls do not block all external connections or manage cookies on other websites.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. To submit a privacy request, email hglas@purahealth.net. You can also manage optional embedded content using Cookie preferences.

5. Data Protection and Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data.

Sensitive data (e.g., payment or QA submissions) is encrypted and accessed only by authorized personnel.

Submit only de-identified educational material. Do not include patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or other identifying information in scans, filenames, quiz responses, or messages.

We may share limited data with:

Payment processors (for transactions)

Accrediting bodies (for CEU verification)

Analytics or email services (to improve communication)

State privacy rights

Your rights depend on the law that applies to your circumstances and our processing. Requests may include access, correction, deletion, or an opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Contact hglas@purahealth.net to make a request or raise a concern about how it was handled.

Learning portal and saved video progress

When you are signed in, this portal stores your Wix member identifier, the lesson sections you have watched, playback position, and the time your progress was saved. These records support progress indicators and continuing across devices. They are stored with the hosted portal and are available through your authenticated account. Wix continues to manage your account, enrollments, and checkout. Video viewing progress is separate from quiz scores and CE completion records.

Essential browser session storage keeps you signed in; browser storage also remembers whether you dismissed or completed the free-guide form. For questions about, access to, or deletion of your learning records, contact hglas@purahealth.net.

Cookie choices and external services

Article embeds (Google Looker Studio and the Shiny dashboard) and embedded Quizell quizzes are off until you allow their respective category. Choosing an article category does not grant quiz permission. Allowing quizzes does not load every quiz: you must also open a quiz from an authorized course page. You can withdraw permission in Cookie preferences. Removing an embed stops it loading here but does not erase cookies already set by its provider or information already submitted.

If your browser exposes Global Privacy Control (GPC), this website keeps both optional embed categories off, including when an older saved choice allowed them. This is a control for the embeds on this website; it does not configure Wix, Quizell, or other sites you open separately. Contact us for other privacy requests. Essential sign-in, requested course videos, and saved learning progress remain available.

Providers and connections

OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery and security. Requests include network and browser information. See OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s cookie information.
Wix: member accounts, authentication, enrollments, payments, forms, course media and scan-review records. The public training catalog also requests Wix data before you choose optional embeds. Wix login and checkout run at members.purahealth.net and have separate Usercentrics controls. See Wix’s privacy policy.
Google Fonts: fonts are requested from Google when pages load, independently of embed choices. Google Fonts privacy information.
Quizell: course quizzes. If loaded, Quizell receives technical information and the responses or details you enter. It describes cookies, security and analytics in its privacy policy. Opening a quiz separately leaves this website and uses Quizell’s controls.
Google Looker Studio and Posit Shinyapps.io: optional interactive article dashboards. They receive connection information when enabled. See Google privacy and Posit privacy.
Wix-hosted and GitHub-hosted media: some pages request images or media from those providers. See GitHub privacy. External YouTube links open YouTube under its own privacy controls.

Cookies and browser-storage inventory

This inventory reflects the website code and the October 4, 2026 browser inspection. Provider behavior and expiry times may change. Items controlled by a provider are distinguished from our saved preferences.

__cf_bm — Cloudflare: bot protection; about 30 minutes of inactivity.
cf_clearance — Cloudflare: security/challenge state; the inspected cookie had an expiry of approximately one year.
__Host-appgarden-visitor — hosting platform: observed on www.purahealth.net with an approximately 90-day expiry. Its exact processing purpose and consent classification are awaiting confirmation from the hosting provider. Our embedded-content controls do not manage this cookie.
pura-cookie-choices-v1 — Pura Health local storage: saves your category choices, choice-format version and timestamp. Choices are valid for 180 days; a materially changed choice format asks you to choose again.
pura-reading-v1 — Pura Health local storage: requested reading settings, retained until reset or browser data is cleared.
pura-guide-seen-v1 / pura-guide-requested-v1: remember whether the guide popup was shown during the session or whether you requested the guide. The requested-guide flag has no automatic expiry and can be removed by clearing browser data.
pura-wix-visitor-v1 / pura-wix-member-v1 / pura-wix-login-v1: browser session storage supporting requested Wix services, member sign-in and temporary login state. Browser session restoration can affect how long session storage remains.

Use your browser settings to inspect or remove cookies and local storage. Removing sign-in data may sign you out. Cookie preferences do not delete your learning records or automatically erase third-party cookies. Accessibility settings can be reset in Accessibility options.
